My girlfriend, Kristen and I just returned from the annual Nike Women's Marathon (NWN). She runs for Team In Training a running team raising money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS). This year Kristen was running in honor of my mom who is fighting a blood cancer called multiple myeloma. The dedication of the folks who run and raise money for this event all year, doing several marathons a year really touched me and I was inspired to share some of the photos from this years event.
